The Spectra Mooring Pendant is the ultimate in mooring pendants; made from is a hollow braided 12-strand rope using 100% Spectra fiber, resulting in a rope that is extremely high tensile strength and ultra low elongation.
The added benefits of the Spectra pendant include the fact that Spectec-12 yields one of the highest strength to weight ratios available in a synthetic rope. It comes standard with a urethane coating that provides additional abrasion resistance while remaining easy to handle.
When coupled with our Big “E” Storm pendant, it provides the low stretch & abrasion resistances where you need it, at the chock; and stretch where you need it, in the standing part of the rope. This lessens the stress to your hardware due to heavy wave and wind loads and gives you the protection you want from a storm pendant system.
